Hey Jason,

Congratulations! (It's Meg from CP) I can still, almost instantly, get into the "Harry-soothing" swing. My partner listened to alot of 70's funk when she was pregnant... and when Harry was very small, "Brick House" worked wonders.

The swing is side to side, right side first, almost like those those "elbow out" stretches from aerobics. And, swaddling did wonders too, both for him (he liked things cozy) and me (I WILL control you!)

Thanks for all the pictures!

Apparently the Happy Baby doctor actually recommends shaking! (of course, he doesn't call it shaking either, he calls it swinging or jiggling.)

Have you heard of this? I hadn't til this week, but I just watched the dvd & it seems promising... I'm thinking about sending you a copy~ could save your hours of frustration. I'm going to try it out with Jack first.

My school is full of posters made by the childcare students about shaken baby syndrome that say, "NEVER EVER SHAKE A BABY!" They're everywhere. Maybe you need a different word. . . How about "vibrated"?
